Thousands of years ago Dinosaurs roamed New Mexico and there were many live volcanos. If you go to Valle Grande near Los Alamos you can see what was once a giant caldera that collapsed.

Sing a song about New Mexico and Billy the KidThere are many New Mexican songs in English, Spanish and in the native language of the many tribes here. The most famous song is about Billy the Kid. Tex Ritter, an early movie cowboy, is one of many known for singing the song. You can listen and sing along to the songs we have posted here but come back as we will be adding more.
