Doña Ana
Doña Ana is a small town in Doña Ana County, one of 33 counties in the state of New Mexico. The population was 1,379 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Las Cruces Metropolitan Statistical Area. Doña Ana County was created in 1852 and is the second-most populated county in the state.
The quality of life in the county is characterized by a strong sense of community that is enhanced by a rural lifestyle. In 1900, the county hosted an agriculturally based society with a population of 10,187.
